I guess in reality I should call this a friend drawing. The model is a friend. A friend made the corset and the blade was a gift from yet another dear friend. In combination, they seem to glow together with the warmth of the flesh with the cold of the steel seem to sing of many possibilities for the what the very next moment might hold.

I did this drawing in pastels although when I planned it I had intended on doing it in charcoal. But by the time I got started on it I lost the original momentum and had to go another direction with it. The good news is that I really like the way it turned out, which I think is pretty cool.
