Our Family of Choice is big on getting together to celebrate or just to hang out. We can come up with a reason to party and be together like nobody’s business. Sometimes it just because we want to, other times it is birthdays, Christmas, New Years or even to say good bye to a loved one. One thing is for sure it will always be great, even in the sad moments. This group of people always has the best energy when they come together and every time I leave their company I say how very lucky and grateful I feel to have these people in my life.   I have never left their company without a big smile on my face.

One of our silly but fun family traditions is the Family Jewel. The family jewel is actually giant butt plug, and I do mean giant! It started out as something of a joke then turned into a challenge to be met and mastered. The rules are simple, everyone takes a turn and when you bring it to an event you must decorate it in some theme having to do with the event. Like one year, Easter was close to the time of a party, so it was turned into a giant Easter display. With colored eggs and all that. I think the family jewel has been everything over the years. The last time it was my job, I turned it into the perfect roommate for one of our family members who just moved into a new home. 

I have picked some pictures from our parties. I wish I could share more but really…some of our FOC have jobs that they feel concerned about being outted with. Some folks just don’t get it you know.
